Order - Shipping process
Once your order has been placed, you will receive notification as soon as it is processed and when it has been dispatched.
If you have opted to send your credit card details separately or you wish to place a telephone order, please contact our order line on 0117 9570100 between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday so that we may complete your order, alternatively you can fax your details to us on 0117 9025000.
We want to deliver your goods to you as quick as we possibly can, indeed a large percentage of our orders are delivered the very next working day.
However, because your order may not be in stock with us and we have to wait for delivery from the manufacturers, please allow 7 working days from placing your order for delivery. If there is any deviation from this expected delivery time you will be notified by email.
As soon as an item in your order is in stock we will ship it to you, we cannot normally keep or send orders until all items are available.
Most deliveries are carried out by Parcel Force with the exception of goods below £60 for which we use the Royal Mail Recorded delivery service.
Postage costs are £2.95 as standard. (£3.95 for international orders) The exception is free delivery, if offered this will be advertised next to the product at the time of order.

Shipping and Returns: The small print:
Delivery
- Goods supplied within the UK will normally be delivered within 7 working days of receipt of order.
- Goods supplied outside the UK will normally be delivered within 10 working days of receipt of order.
- Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, the Buyer will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or receive a full refund.
- The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. In any event time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the Seller shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
- Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyer’s address specified in the order and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
- Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.
Cancellation And Return
- The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the Seller by e mail to enquires@diddytrains.com or by post to registered address within 7 working days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract. If the Buyer fails to do so the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.
- Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned by the Buyer to the Seller. The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.
- If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund by informing the Seller by e mail to enquires@diddytrains.com or by post to registered address within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods.
- Goods must be returned by the Buyer at the Buyer’s expense and should be adequately insured during the return journey. The Buyer will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods (including delivery charges, if any) except for return postal charges within 30 days of cancellation. If the Buyer fails to return the Goods following cancellation, the Seller shall be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the Goods from the Buyer.
- Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from the Seller on the package.
- Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer’s fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
